The platform is grounded in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the international standard for measuring proficiency from A1 to C2, in any language. It serves educational assessment, course placement, hiring, and language screening for companies and institutions alike. Its analysis focuses on written and spoken production — the skills that most reliably reveal a true level — rather than on multiple-choice answers alone.
The expertise behind the method
CEFRHub was founded by Réda Haiat, a specialist in CEFR-based language assessment with over 22 years of practice. His expertise forms the methodological foundation of the platform: accredited by France Éducation international, France's public authority for language certification, and a certified ACTFL OPI Tester (Oral Proficiency Interview — Full Certification, through the Superior level), the North American reference for assessing spoken production.
This command of the world's two leading assessment frameworks is rare. It is what allows CEFRHub to place a level with precision and map reliable correspondences across systems (CEFR, ACTFL, IELTS).
A transparent, auditable method

Every analysis draws on the 1,800+ official CEFR descriptors from the Council of Europe (2020 Companion Volume) and measures real production against precise criteria, rather than assigning an opaque score.
