How much does one assessment cost?
Pay per use: CA$5, or down to CA$2.50 in a pack of 25 credits. With a subscription, it depends on your use: at full quota, CA$0.98 with Professional (50 assessments for CA$49 a month) and CA$0.25 with Business. Up to 12 assessments a month, credits cost less.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Freemium gives you 1 written assessment every 30 days and 1 spoken assessment offered once, with no credit card. Your first subscription is then covered by the 7-day money-back guarantee: full refund if you have done 5 assessments or fewer.
Is the result a certificate?
No. CEFRHub is an educational assessment tool, not a certification. Results are not accepted for any immigration, citizenship or admission process.
Which skills and languages?
Written and spoken production, in English and French, from A1 to C2 with sub-levels (for example A2.1 or B1.2), from a written text or a recording.
How quickly do I get the result?
In under 3 minutes.
How is the level determined?
The report relies on the descriptors of the CEFR and its Companion Volume (Council of Europe, 2020). The method is published. See the methodology
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes, up or down. The change takes effect immediately and charges are prorated.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from your account settings, with no cancellation fees. Your access stays active until the end of the billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans, starting from your first subscription. Full refund if you've used 5 or fewer evaluations within the first 7 days. Beyond 5 evaluations, a partial refund may apply minus API usage costs. After 7 days, no refunds are issued, including when the account is deleted. Unused credits are refundable within 7 days of their purchase; used credits are not refundable. Contact support@cefrhub.ai for any refund request.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, through Stripe. Enterprise customers can also pay by invoice. Prices in Canadian dollars.
What's the difference between Professional and Power?
Power gives 4 times more assessments (200 vs 50) and extended reports (~2,000 vs ~1,500 words). Both include priority email support.
What does “unlimited” mean on Expert?
Assessments and comparisons with no monthly quota, within fair use: 50 analyses per day, assessments and comparisons combined. Need more? Write to us.
